Spanish and History Course
The University of Buenos Aires taught classes take place at the Language Center of the University of Buenos Aires, a few blocks from the Congress building and downtown Buenos Aires. Course materials (textbook and workbook) and group activities are included. University credit for the University of Buenos Aires program is available for all levels and courses. Students receive a certificate at the end of their course that can be mailed directly to their home university. This certificate states the number of hours, final percentage grade received, and is complete with the logo of the university. Spanish courses are taught entirely in Spanish, and the Argentinean History course will be taught in English. Below are course descriptions:

Housing
While in Buenos Aires you will be staying in a double room at one of the University de Buenos Aires student residences. The student residence is located downtown near the Congreso de la Nacion and the UBA campus.
Ammentitie include:

Organized Activities
Weekly Tango Class
Classes take place at one of the top tango schools in Buenos Aires, where you will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study with professionals in the city that invented tango. These classes are comprehensive and cover topics including positions, steps and body training. Each week consists of 1.5 hours of group class time.
Weekly Cooking Class
Our cooking program is suited for both the novice and experienced chef. The course is taken at a top culinary school in Buenos Aires. Class topics vary by week and may include: Meats, fish, poultry, pastas, pastery-making, desserts, breads, or Asian cuisine. An intermediate level of Spanish or higher is recommended, but even students without a Spanish background are welcome to give the classes a try.
Wine Tasting
Learn how to taste wine knowledgeably and describe what you are tasting. In this 2-meeting course, a certified Sommelier will guide you through wine types, grapes, varietals, and the wine regions of Argentina as well as the basics of reading a wine label, and hints for smart buying. Also included are the basics of wine-and-food pairing, what matches well, what doesn’t and why.

Study Abroad Adventure Bonuses

You will be able to refill the sim car to make local and long distance calls, and the phone will be able to receive incoming calls free of charge.
